Is this a first?

The Charity Commission have re-opened an investigation into a charity after a newspaper published an article about that charity.
No, that’s not the “First” referred to in the title of this post. The Commission acting after media interest into a charity is… well,
like Monday following Sunday - predictable in the extreme.
The “First” we are referring to in this post is this…
The Charity Commission has actually confessed to making a mistake.
Hallelujah !!!
The angels rejoice - let there be goodwill to all ye trustees.
In this their First known entry into the Box, the Charity Commission confessed that they had:
carried out a flawed investigation
given advice that
"was open to misinterpretation" and “fell short of their procedures”
written to the charity’s trustees using language that was
"clumsy and open to misinterpretation"
This now gives a further insight into their already known lack of professionalism.
We ask, could the Commission’s admission [or rather, its confession], herald a new dawn of openness and transparency in the Regulator’s approach?
We will not be holding our breath on this, but…
We sense pressure is mounting and they should be back in that Box very soon.
With so much mismanagement and incompetence, how could they not be?
More to come…
